One of the best places to get authentic pupusas in the DFW area. The sauces and slaw is like it should be. I did take off one star since service was a bit slow, not sure if they were under staffed but they could do better. Will be back!

I really love their tamales. They're giant lol, there's whole piece of chicken along with the half a potato in it but apart from it I love their fresh papusas too and of course their rest of the food is worth it too
With temperatures soaring into the high 90s this summer, we decided to skip dining in at the restaurant when we noticed the A/C didn't seem to be working. Instead, a sign for pupusas on the road caught our eye as we headed to Guanatajo Bakery, and we knew we had to stop and order some. The pupusas are made fresh to order and take about 20 minutes to prepare. You can choose from pork, chicken, or veggie fillings. We opted for a mix of pork and chicken, and at just $2 each, they're incredibly reasonably priced. By the time we got home, they were still hot and came with a side of Salvadoran pickled vegetables and both red and green salsas--the green being the spicier of the two. These pupusas were absolutely delicious--cheesy, warm, and downright satisfying. For anyone looking to try them, I recommend calling ahead to place your order and picking them up. This spot has definitely become our go-to for pupusas.
